As the heavy fabrics and layered textures of winter return to their protective garment bags and storage bins in the attic, our closets are once again ready to be restocked with clothing better equipped for the warmer days ahead of us. Wool coats and raw denim are replaced by chambray jackets and linen shirts. Tartan scarves get swapped for terry cloth beach towels. Canvas tote bags for..... actually, those can stay. With Spring & Summer just on the horizon, we at PAREA want to make sure that you are not only beating the heat, but looking your absolute best while doing so. After many months of relentless designing, manufacturing, and collaborating, we couldn't be more excited to share our new collections Act Three with you all, our PAREA. These new releases will showcase our greatest ideas and pieces to date, all of which delivered with the encouragement of always being worn In Good Company.
We've made a lot of improvements to PAREA throughout the "off season", details in which we are very proud to introduce into our current and future collections. One of the (if not THE) most exciting improvements is our means of production. All of our pieces are now 100% proudly made and produced locally in the southeast Virginia area. Making this change happen was a no-brainer for us. Getting to work In Good Company with some incredible local businesses in our own backyard fills us with immense pride and excitement. Collaborating closely with these companies and factories has heightened our quality control in every facet of designing and creating our products for you. We'd like to extend our graditude to all of the hands involved in making Act 3 come to life.
Transitioning from our Act Two release, we made sure to include some of your (and our) favorite items from our previous Autumn // Winter 21 collection, while also introducing a number of new designs to become constants in your wardrobe. One of our favorite pieces that we couldn't part ways with until next year; our In Good Company Sweatshirt. This fan favorite will be making a comeback In Act Three with exciting improvements to it's design and construction. For starters, we dropped the hood, giving it a double-needled stitched crewneck finish designed for complete comfort and versatility. Secondly, we made it lighter, much lighter. It's new fabric weight of 8oz. cotton & polyester (compared to previously 9.3oz.) makes it much more breathable and airy than it's winter predecessor. Available in three new colors, Forrest, Navy, and Dune, The In Good Company Sweatshirt displays a white thread embroidery decoration to ensure that our beloved mantra is a bright and visible part of your ensemble. Dress it up, or dress it down, the new and improved In Good Company Sweatshirt will be your go-to for all events this season.
As you may recall, some of our most favored pieces from our previous installments have resided on the canvas an ever classic T-shirt. Most notably; The Sketch Series, which featured black penciled renderings of our personal photographs taken all throughout the Grecian Islands (see Issue No. 4 of The PAREA Post for that full story). Being able to incorporate images from our own cameras and showcase them to our customers gives us great joy. Continuing this theme, Act 3 will include two new classic Tees with stunning portraits of Athens and Paros, Greece. Both of these destinations have been endless fountains of inspiration for PAREA, in one way or another. Displayed with beautiful oil painting-like finishes, images of the Acropolis columns and Naoussa village pathways tell the stories of PAREA's building blocks; culture, tradition, and good company. We hope that these images of some of our best memories are able ignite some of yours.
The intentions Act 3 by PAREA are simple; to bring you and your people together. We've curated and crafted these products to encourage our customers, and their circles, to gather and enjoy being together. Raise a toast to good health with our PAREA Potiri Shot Glass.
